2nd Chance helps you to develop the soft skills that Street Coffee are looking for, such as teamwork, the ability to meet deadlines and the presentation skills that most jobs require…
(Step 2)
Project-based learning gives you the opportunity to work on employer-led projects that offer you real experience of a working environment. Whether it is working with a small business, or a well-known brand, you will be exposed to a wide range of employers, industries and business needs so that when you get a job at the end of the six months at 2nd Chance you feel prepared and ready to hit the ground running.
2nd Chance is successful in starting careers because we pay close attention to matching our Associates to industries where their strengths will see them flourish. For us it is not just about finding you any job but helping you to start the right career.
(Step 3)
Street Coffee employees work on a commission based scheme, Employees will have to sell a certain amount of coffee cups a day.
Once they hit the profit mark they start receiving commission,
Then whatever they make after that mark is all theirs!
This motivates employees to work harder. They have realised, more coffees they sell daily the more money is added on to their wage at the
end of the month!
Here is a ….. of one Cart/Kiosk
Street Coffee also puts a percentage of its profits away to fund new Carts/Kiosks.
Every Cart/Kiosk means that another two people from 2nd Chance will have the opportunity to become Street Coffee employees.
So the aim for Street Coffee is to sell as much Coffee as we can!
